The Iraqi Elections 2010 are today and tomorrow and lets just say I am fortunate enough to be able to vote here in San Diego.
Perhaps i should attribute my fortunate to the recent influx of Iraqi immigrants to the United States and partially to the renewed relationship between Iraq and the U.S.
Bluefied Finger. Checked.
I have to say the decision to vote for someone is more difficult when in fact that person will never impact my life in any way.
With all that’s going on over there, i just hope the time i put in choosing that candidate will be beneficial for them.

Iraq’s 2009 elections are coming up and the migrants here are feeling it. Due to the now close relationship between Iraq and the United States, thousands of Iraqi’s have migrated to the U.S. in the past few years.
As a result, we are lucky to have elections here available to us.
Now most of us still feel obligated to vote for the diverse regions we came from within Iraq. Therefore i feel the pressure coming half way across the world to choose an “unknown” party to lead my people back home.

I heard these guys at a gift shop while i was at Edinburgh and I forgot to look them up until now. For some reason, i really like their style.
Reminiscing of my trip to Scotland through Braveheart. Oh how I miss those ruggid highlands…and lowlands.
